All trash must be by the curb either the night before or by 5 AM the day of your scheduled pick up day. The driver will report any locations that do not have their trash out on time, and there is a mandatory $10 fee if we have to send a truck back to your location. Your household number must be clearly marked and visible on either your mailbox or trash can.
No oils, paints, toxins, chlorine, flammable materials, hot coals or ashes, bricks, concrete, car batteries, tires or rocks. Customers putting building material in trash are subject to fines. Oil/paint can be picked up if put in a container with cat litter or speedy dry to absorb the oil/paint.
Yard waste collection is every Wednesday by request only. Call our office no later than 4PM Tuesday to have the request put in for Wednesday. Yard debris cannot be mixed with household garbage, it must be bagged, bundled, or tied up for easy lifting. Yard waste may not exceed 50 lbs. If heavier it will not be picked up. Limbs cannot be longer than 3 feet in length and 3 inches in diameter. Yard waste is vegetation that grows in the yard. This cannot be mixed with any metal, plastic or foreign matter. We accept the following recyclables: paper, newspapers, magazines, catalogs, office paper, books, corrugated cardboard, mail, LDPE film, PET and steel banding, pallets, plastic containers as will as other plastics, aluminum cans, steel cans, and glass containers of residential type. We will not accept the following as recyclables: garbage, food waste, food-tainted items (such as used paper plates or boxes, paper towels, or paper napkins with food still on them). Ceramics, kitchenware, windows, mirrors, plastic wrap, wax boxes, photographs, medical waste, styrofoam or polystyrene, hazardous chemicals and chemical containers, plastic toys, sporting good equipment, foam egg cartons, wood, light bulbs (any type), yard waste and garden tools. No commercial equipment.
We do not offer containers at this time. Soon, we will be offering containers with our logo on them for an additional monthly fee. For the time being, we accept any standard size outdoor garbage bin of any color or brand. These kind of containers are sold at Lowes, Home Depot, and Walmart. They can also be purchased online at Amazon. Submit your email on the home page to receive updates from us about when our containers will be available.
At this time, we do not pick up large items such as furniture or appliances. Anything other than standard garbage/recycle/yard waste removal, we recommend Hernandez Junk Removal. (910)-322-3720
Avoid interruption of services and late fees by paying your bill on time each month. Bills are sent out on the 20th of the previous month and due on the 1st of the current month (example: September 20th we send out bills for October. October bill is due on October 1st.) There is a 10 day grace period- after the 10th of the month, your bill is now considered late. Once your account is 2 months or more past due, you are subject to having your account suspended, and you will be charged a $10 late fee (example: it is October, and you did not pay your September bill. You owe for both months. After October 10th, your account will be suspended and charged a late fee.) Once your account is suspended, we will not resume service at your location until the full amount due is paid. If you make a payment after hours the day before your next pickup day, that payment will not be posted until 2PM the next day, and your service will not resume until the following scheduled day (example: you are a Tues/Fri pickup, you pay your past due bill online Monday after 2PM. Your services will not be resumed until Friday). We do not do same day resumes. Our drivers are issued their daily route schedule at 5AM each day, and cannot be changed afterwards (example: you are a Tues/Fri pickup, you pay your past due bill on Tuesday. Your service will be resumed on Friday). Late fees are non-negotiable and non-refundable.
Starting 10/20/23, we will now be offering paperless billing, and will be taking online payments through trashbilling.com using the new 12 digit web ID number associated with your account. This number will be on your bill. Please contact our office at (910)-424-7007 if you have any questions.
